Defense Solutions, Inc., an international project management firm and executive consulting firm, a wholly owned subsidiary of Defense Solutions Holding, Inc. (OTC Bulletin Board: DFSH), announces that the Company has expanded its commercial scope opportunities to include the facilitation of contracts within the energy sector. Through the Company’s continued ongoing relationship with the Iraqi Government and as a registered company authorized to conduct business in Iraq, Defense Solutions has been evaluating the needs of the government and its country’s rebuilding process. Defense Solutions has positioned itself to play a role in the logistics of facilitating oil contracts for the Iraqi Government.
Iraq produces approximately 2 million barrels of oil a day and holds proven reserves of approximately 115 billion barrels, which are relatively accessible and economical to tap. Ending its 40 year seclusion from the rest of the world, Iraq now aims to develop what is considered the world’s third largest oil reserves. International oil companies are expected to bid for oil service contracts next month and Defense Solutions anticipates participating in the bidding process for some of these contracts.
According to Defense Solutions’ Chief Executive, Colonel Timothy Ringgold, US Army (Retired), “This is a great opportunity for Defense Solutions to capitalize on the facilitation of oil contracts for the Iraqi Government. We will continue to update our shareholders as to any developments that may arise from this new prospect.”
