Tootie Pie Comp nay Inc. has landed 43 new restaurant customers throughout Oklahoma as a result of a successful food show sponsored by Ben E Keith Foodservice in Oklahoma City. Ben E. Keith Foodservice has been a distributor of food service products and Anheuser-Busch products since 1906.

The new agreements in place will mean that these restaurants will begin selling pies on their menus made by Tootie Pie. Tootie Pie will bake and ship pies to Ben E. Keith’s distribution centers in Oklahoma. The restaurants will order the pies wholesale through Ben E. Keith.

Tootie Pie also announced that it had landed Shorty Smalls restaurant chain, which operates eight locations in Little Rock, Arkansas; Oklahoma City, Oklahoma; Branson, Missouri and Wichita, Kansas.

Shorty Smalls not only opens up some great new markets for Tootie Pie in the Midwest and Southeast, but it comes through a new food distributor: Reinhart Foods, which means access to more restaurants and hotels.

Reinhart is the third largest, privately held, foodservice distributor in the United States. Reinhart is part of the Reyes Holdings Company and has been around for over 30 years.

Tootie Pie recently announced that March 2010 unit sales jumped 27%, versus March 2009. This comes on the heels of a 10% gain for January and February. Tootie Pie also logged about a 50% increase in revenues, which were helped by sales from its two new Gourmet Cafés.

Tootie Pie is experiencing sales increases across all of their selling channels and is especially encouraged by their wholesale foodservice and grocery sales growth.

As Tootie Pie continues to increase sales and add new revenue producing restaurant customers, 2010 is shaping up to be a very strong year for the Tootie Pie Company.
