Tootie Pie Company continues its impressive string of month-over-month sales gains as it adds new revenue generating restaurant customers

Tootie Pie Compnay Inc. (OTC BB: TOOT) reported its seventh consecutive month-over-month sales increase. Seven consecutive months of sales increases speaks well to the ongoing success of our marketing strategies,” said Don Merrill, President & CEO.

Tootie Pie Compnay announced that that April 2010 unit sales jumped 13%, versus April, 2009. This comes on the heels of a 27% jump in March 2010 versus March 2009. Tootie Pie also logged healthy increases in revenues, which were helped by sales from its two new Gourmet Cafés.

“We are experiencing sales increases across all of our selling channels and are especially encouraged by our wholesale foodservice and grocery sales growth. We continue to be very happy with the percentage of pie sales occurring in our Tootie Pie Company Gourmet Café, as those sales come at much higher retail profit margins,” Merrill added.

In addition to the previous announcement that Tootie Pie landed 43 new restaurant customers throughout Oklahoma as a result of a successful food show sponsored by Ben E Keith Foodservice in Oklahoma City, the Company has announced that its pies will be carried at Six Flags theme park in San Antonio, TX, a Hard Rock Hotel & in Tulsa, Oklahoma, and at Mickey Mantle’s Steakhouse in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma.

“The better restaurant operators are responding when we tell them that 25% of our Gourmet Café revenues are coming from Tootie Pie sales. It only makes sense that a group that operates upscale venues like Mickey Mantle’s Steakhouse, The a 2009 Wine Spectator Award of Excellence Winner, would want to add Tootie Pie to their menu,” added Merrill.

Tootie Pie is experiencing sales increases across all of their selling channels and is especially encouraged by their wholesale foodservice and grocery sales growth.

As Tootie Pie continues to increase sales and add new revenue producing restaurant customers, 2010 is shaping up to be a very strong year for the Tootie Pie Company.
